Team Lead Java Developer

Our globally known client is on the lookout for a Team Lead Java Developer to join their team.

With the option to work remotely, you will be mainly responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining either new or existing software-based systems. Apart from this, you will also be leading a team of developers whereby you will be training and mentoring them.

The ideal candidate needs to be open to learning new technologies and can adapt easily, whilst finding ways to continuously improve the gaps and strengths of the team members.

• Approximately 7 years of work experience developing Java.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a team lead position.
• Deep knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Refactoring, and Unit Testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in microservices architecture.
• Experience building Restful backend services using popular frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in messaging software such as Kafka, RabbitMq.
• Experience in Relational / NoSQL Database Management Systems such as Postgresql, ElasticSearch, MongoDB
• Work Experience with Linux OS, preferably Ubuntu, will be considered an asset.
