Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote/Hybrid)

Our client, coming from the technical industry, is on the lookout for a Software QA Engineer to join their team. The candidate has the option to work remotely.

Your Responsibilities:

• Testing complex features such as:
  • Collecting, identifying and documenting testing requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining test specifications and test plan documents.
  • Designing the test scenarios with a complete understanding of the end-to-end solution and customer use cases.
  • Configuring the environment to run the tests.
  • Developing automated tests based on the test specifications and test plans
  • Running manual tests to reach testing completeness.
  • Collaborating with other teams to analyze any software defects.
  • Reporting such defects accurately including all the steps and information required to replicate the issues identified.
• Providing realistic estimates for deliverables.
• Ensuring that the requirements stated in the Product Design document are correct.
• Testing both Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
• Maintaining and improving test frameworks to satisfy automation and reporting.
• Interacting with various stakeholders to simulate customer scenarios that help validate the product.

• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in software development.
• Knowledge in Java and/or Python.
• Previous experience with testing plans, executing manual tests, designing automated tests etc.
• Previous expierence in testing APIs and User Interfaces.
• Prior Experience in use of Selenium, Jmeter, Postman and/OR Cucumber
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Being familiar with scripting languages such as Perl, Python or Bash is not a must-have, but will be an asset.
