Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is on the lookout for a vibrant Software Quality Assurance Engineer. 

The selected candidate will be working on Manual Testing, liaising with the Software development team, DevOps Team and proving regular updates to management on progress.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and procedures based on specifications and user stories.
• Review technical documents and provide feedback to ensure product quality and usability.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, while performing thorough regression testing post-fix.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead all phases of acceptance testing.
• Create training materials, deliver user training, and support knowledge sharing.
• Provide early-life support post-launch and stay updated on testing tools and methodologies.

• 2+ years in software quality assurance / testing roles
• Strong knowledge of testing methods/tools.
• Clear test plan/case creation experience.
• GIven that this role requires special clearance, the right candidate must be living in Europe for the past 5 years
• Hands-on experience in white box/black box testing is a plus
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting, Linux/Microsoft is a plus
• Basic understanding of Java/Python/C++ is considered as an asset
• Experience with test / bug-logging tools

• Higher level education in software engineering or computer science, or have 2 years of equivalent experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field desirable, but not essential.
