Software Developer in Test

A leading Bank in Malta is seeking to employ a Software Developer in Test to join their team of Software Quality Assurance function of the Bank. The Selected candidate must be able to work on their own initiative with a can-do attitude. The candidate must be willing to travel on occasions to attend training/conferences or manage supplier relations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist manual testers in the development of test scripts including mainly Functional, Performance, Load, and API tests.
• Participate in post-mortem project reviews; defining, documenting, and identifying gaps, improvements, and inconsistencies.
• Drive the processes related to performing user acceptance testing and sign-off.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify and challenge System Functional Specifications with the aim of iteratively seeking room for improvement.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test automation frameworks for ongoing projects on various systems/applications on different platforms such as Desktop, Web, and Mobile.
• Test functionality and features against UI, UX, business, and technical requirements.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities including reporting test execution results to stakeholders.
• Perform Code Reviews and leverage coding standards/methodologies.
• Support the IT Software QA Team Manager in setting the long and short-term strategy for the team and drive the delivery of that strategy against a set of time-bound goals and deliverables.
