Senior Java Software Developer

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Developer focusing specifically on Java to join their team in Malta. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Senior Software Developer will be responsible for:

• Showing interest and being involved in the full development life-cycle of software deliverables;
• Maintaing the applicability and correctness of software deliverables produced, guaranteeing their alignment to business requirements and company goals;
• Actively researching new technology and technology trends to contribute to the Design & Architecture of the assigned project;
• Ensuring that all relevant process, quality, and security guidelines are embedded in the designs from the early stages
• Assisting in the development of appropriate standards and practices;
• Demonstrateing strong customer focus;
• Mentoring to the junior teammates;
• Availability to travel for training purposes or relevant technology conferences.
