Gauselmann Group is looking to recruit a Product Owner (m/f/d) to join their team on a full-time basis at their Sliema site in Malta.
Job role:
As a Product Owner (m/f/d) at EPG, you will be responsible for managing the products throughout their life cycle and creating KPIs to quantify and measure success. As an expert in delivering complex products, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders to create a seamless experience for end users and merchants looking to go live on our platform or use our products and services. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for product definition, end-to-end product development planning, and go-to-market planning.
Responsibilities:
In the position of Product Owner, you will collect and prioritize customer requirements, will define detailed product specifications based on a high-level product roadmap, and will refine them through cross-department and stakeholder discussions.
You will work to ensure alignment in the product roadmap and contribute towards the long-term vision of the product.
Moreover, you will act across different Scrum teams, be the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders and work closely with UI/UX designers to define the best workflows.
Furthermore, you will manage and prioritize product backlog items, write high-quality user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and work closely with technical leads and agile project managers to drive release planning and execution.
Last but not least, you will oversee the development stages, evaluate product progress and report it to stakeholders, prepare product demos for stakeholders and distribute release notes for the product releases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fields
Previous experience as a PO or similar role, ideally in a FinTech environment
In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
Experience with Project Management & issue tracking tools like Jira, Confluence
Understand your customer, users, and products through customer interviews, A/B testing, or other customer research techniques
Excellent command of English.
