PHP Developer

Our client is seeking to recruit for a PHP Developer to join their growing team in Malta. You will be involved in the overall SDLC of development and testing well-developed code according to client requirements. Your main duties will include:

• Understanding documented requirements and specifications
• Writing newly developed code and maintaining any old functionality as per requirements
• Adhering to deadlines and timelines 
• Providing solutions based on your industry expertise and following a creative approach to your work 
• Testing all newly developed functionality and ensure that all bugs have been fixed 

Education & Experience: 

• A Bachelor's Degree in IT plus 1-3 years' experience working on software development
• Strong exposure/interest utilizing PHP, PHP frameworks, MySQL, and front-end technologies
• Prior use of Magento is considered to be a huge plus 
• Experience and/or knowledge of Agile is considered an asset

• Fluent in English 
• Candidates need to be already based in Malta. Should candidates possess excellent knowledge of Magento, they would have the option to work remotely.
