Manual QA Engineer (Hybrid/Remote)

Our globally well-known client is on the lookout to hire a promising Manual QA Engineer to join their growing team.

Having a key role within the company, your responsibilities include:

• Performing multiple types of testing including functional, system, end-to-end, smoke, regression, and ad-hoc testing.
• Submitting comprehensive defects through the bug tracking system.
• Regressing and verifying defects as needed.
• Reviewing a defect and directing it to the correct department.
• Analyzing requirements and writing test cases.
• Designing test plans from business requirements and specifications.
• Mentoring junior employees.
• Acting as QA champion on assigned projects.
• Working as the primary QA representative on Scrum teams.

Candidates can work fully remotely if they are located in the EU.

• Between 3-4 years of work experience as a QA Engineer.
• Knowledge on software testing methodologies, such as Agile.
• Strong experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.
• Understanding of programming concepts and best practices.
• Knowledge in either Linux OR Windows.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Good at troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues.

• Ideally, a Degree in an IT-related field, however this is not mandatory.
