Frontend Developer

Our client is currently looking to recruit for a Front-End Developer to work in Malta, the right candidate can start remotely and relocate later. Working in a multinational team you will work on exciting projects in the Digital products space.

The main responsibilities include:

• Gathering and understanding requirements from clients
• Designing and building their clients websites
• Implementing new features as well as maintaining and improving the existing functionality
• Improving the user experience of their clients' websites
• Provide all necessary documentation following code development
• Carrying out manual testing prior to new feature deployment
• Be pro-active in proposing improvements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science or relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Proficiency using front-end technologies primarily VueJS, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, Docker and Git
• Experience with PHP and NodeJS would be considered an asset
• Trained in Responsive Webdesign and Pagespeed optimisations
• Experience using template engines (pref. Handlebars & Pug)

• Can-do and proactive attitude
• Passionate about latest technologies as well as UX/UI design
