Front-End Web Developer

Job Description
Just Some Coding Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Front-End Web Developer to join their team on a full/part-time with flexible hours basis.

Job Role:
Due to an increase in demand for services and future plans, we are looking for additional team members to join us. We have a fantastic range of international clients who place their trust in us yearly, across web and app development, consultation, marketing, and any bespoke ideas they would like to see come to life. We step into new technology when it becomes relevant or of importance to learn for tomorrow. We do not want to overshadow but allow creative freedoms within the bounds of the project, timelines, and sustainable suggestions. Any project we are working on could be the next greatest platform, with a relatively large user base, requiring a commitment to its launch and subsequent support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web solutions within the Javascript language
• Typically use Angular 8+, although we also have several NextJS and Svelte products
• Communicate with a team of designers and developers across various degrees of skill, so the idea of the client/project is brought to life with great attention to detail
• Support own products post-launch, as well as assist with projects from other team members
• HTML/CSS and web system direction will be provided before the front-end development commences.

Requirements: 

• The ability to build self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Ensure a clear dependency chain, in terms of both application logic as well as file relationships
• Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop
• Write non-blocking code, and resort to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed
• Cooperate with the back-end developers in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicate with external web services
• Profile optimization (memory, speed)
• Experience with Angular 8+
• Knowledge of NodeJS and ReactJS
• Interest / Knowledge of Svelte and NextJS
• Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) is a plus
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.

*We are looking for someone based locally as various internal face-to-face meetings that will be required, and also to ensure remote work isolation is reduced.
