Join us in driving Excellence, empowering People, and enhancing Communication to create a thriving and impactful workplace.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our new collaboration project ESF+.02.235 - Bridging Abilities: Advancing Opportunities on a part-time casual basis for a definite period expiring on July 2029 (for a total of 72 hours throughout the project). The chosen professional will form part of our new Baby & Me Programme, an early intervention program aimed at empowering parents with knowledge and strategies to support speech, language, and communication development in infants and toddlers diagnosed with congenital disabilities or identified as being at elevated risk of autism.

The programme consists of various workshops held during the Winter (Jan–Mar), Spring (Apr–Jun), and Autumn (Oct–Dec) terms. The Speech & Language Pathologist will be responsible to design and deliver these workshops. Workshop scheduling offers flexibility, allowing sessions to be planned in coordination with the therapist’s availability and programme needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based workshops for parents and caregivers. These workshops will focus on early development in early childhood covering speech, language and communication in addition to other developmental milestones in the early years.
  • Three distinct workshops are required, each covering a unique aspect of early communication. (Duration for each workshop 2 hours each).
  • Workshops will be delivered once per month, and the full series will be repeated across three terms per year—meaning each workshop will be presented three times annually.
  • Content should be interactive, practical, and grounded in current research.
  • Provide and model strategies for parents during workshop sessions.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents on integrating strategies into daily routines.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of the programme by collecting relevant feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with organizational and professional standards.

What we’re looking for

Empathetic, respectful and detail-oriented therapist with solid background in Speech & Language Pathology, excellent record-keeping, documentation, and follow-up practices. The ideal candidate shall be a good listener, skilled in conflict resolution and collaborative approach.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum MQF Level 6 degree in Communication Therapy.
  • Registered with the Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine (CPCM) and meet the minimum insurance requirements as stipulated by the Council.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young children and families, preferably in early intervention.
  • Experience in group facilitation and workshop delivery will be considered as an asset.
