Bonnici Bros. Services Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Welder / Fabricator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Working on a variety of repair jobs and installations, the Welder/ Fabricator will be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Performing general repairs, fabrication and installations of structures in steel, stainless steel or alloy material, in accordance with client requirements, manufacturer guidelines and/or as assigned by supervisor.
Skillfully fabricate any parts or structures requested, using industry best practices and standards. Knowledge in operating general workshop equipment is considered an asset.
Fabrication tasks include cutting, shaping, disassembly and assembly of structures and pipe systems, rigging and handling, cleaning, fabrication of structures and pipe systems, weld preparation, welding according to welding procedures and finishing according to good workmanship practices.
Reporting work done and requirements for components, materials, and consumables.
Work in a team with minimum supervision, performing other related tasks that may be required due to business exigencies.
The successful candidate should have:
A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
A tradesperson certification in fabrication and/or EQF level 3 certificate in welding.
The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
