Trade Technician - Carpenter

Education / Experience:

• He should possess an ordinary level of education complimented with a carpentry/joinery certificate or an apprenticeship in the related subjects

• He must be able to communicate in English language.

He should be required to successfully carry out the following works:

• Carpentry works including manufacture/repair of wooden construction hull related works, beams, frames, bulkheads, floors etc.

• Attend future training as required by the company

• Work as a team player

• Work on his own initiative with minimal supervision within set time frames      

• Interpret various drawings related to works

• Joinery works including manufacture/repair of interior and exterior furniture works

• Teak deck laying/repairs and re-caulking

• Assist in building of yacht slipping cradles and perform slipping and unslipping operations

• Keep housekeeping standard levels high as per company policy

• Keep a pleasant and smart appearance especially when in contact with boat owners

• Assist other trades as required

• Must abide to all company’s Health and Safety regulations and procedures

• To adhere to MIYY policy described in quality management policy
