Job Description
Ofici in Malta is looking to recruit a Technician to join their Toshiba Printing Solution team on a full-time basis. Only candidates who possess the below requirements will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Commissioning/configuration of machines,
• Preventive maintenance, repair (including ordering of parts),
• Evaluation of machines before disposal.

The core working hours will be in and out of the office as necessary. During the time at the office, one shall plan for any necessary repairs and settle any back office work as necessary. Outside the office, one shall visit clients to commission machines, for any preventive maintenance and/or replacement of consumables as scheduled or as necessary.  

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in a similar kind of service; 
• Attention to detail,
• Ability to process quickly and efficiently,
• Clerical skills,
• Computer and data entry skills,
• Good communication with all staff in all departments,
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
• Important to be proactive.

Qualifications:

• Higher national; diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Technician Certificate (or equivalent), and/or;
• Diploma in IT (Computer system & Network) (or equivalent),
• International Diploma in Computer Studies.
• ‘O’ Level qualified in: Maltese, English and Mathematics,
• Be in possession of ECDL qualification,
• Spoken, Written & Understanding of the English Language.

*Any qualification and/or licenses in the areas indicated above will be considered an asset. Specific training will be provided.
