Technician

Job Description
Bajada New Energy in Malta is looking for a self-starter Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The selected candidate will be a person with strong leadership skills, who is able to communicate clearly to all stakeholders, and someone who displays a strong sense of presence and charisma.

The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.

Preference will be given to candidates residing in Malta / Europe and having maintenance experience or having experience in the Renewable Energy Sector including but not limited to Photovoltaic Panels & Solar Water Heaters etc.

Responsibilities:

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Document processes
• Routinely check and services equipment
• Be in charge of preventive and routine maintenance
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
• Liaise with the technical team and share information across the organisation
• Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Weekly / daily reporting to the technical manager
• Operate vehicles in a safe manner.

Requirements:

• Proven Field Service experience
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
• English literacy
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Clean police conduct
• Driving licence
• Past experience in Maintenance technician role
• Past experience in Solar Water Heater, Reverse Osmosis, A/C, and Photovoltaic installations would be considered an asset
• Training will be given.
