Technical Coordinator

Job Description
Food Chain Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance & Projects Manager, this is a position with a one-year test period. The person will be assisting the Projects Manager in the efficient running of the maintenance aspect of Operations of Food chain Ltd (Pizza Hut, Burger King, KFC, and BOOST) in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• To service restaurant equipment including cooking equipment, heating equipment, etc
• To Install and repair any electrical and plumbing duties
• Furniture repairs and upkeep of the restaurants
• Taking care of emergency drainage and toilet repairs
• Assist in the transporting of equipment/furniture between restaurants
• Servicing and maintenance of Refrigeration equipment
• Plan, coordinate and follow up on jobs requested by Managers from the outlets
• Upgrade any electrical infrastructure as required
• Carry out periodic stock take of spare parts and generate an ordering list for replenishment
• Be part of the team to set up stands for activities of our brands from time to time.

Requirements:

• Needs to maintain a good relationship with suppliers of parts and services companies
• Have previous experience in a technical environment
• Have knowledge of HVAC & Refrigeration
• Have a journeyman's certificate and electrical wireman License A&B
• Have a positive work attitude and safety awareness
• Works both on his/her own and in a team
• Works on own initiative
• Be self-motivated and flexible
• Able to work normal working hours and be on call 24/7 according to the roaster.
