SAW Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Spray Painter Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
Operations within the spray department including ensuring quality control throughout all processes and the final product.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting and receiving handover from third parties in a technical drawing format for each and every job
- Must order material and other spray-related ad hoc items and ensure adequate stock/material is available at the time of need
- Ensuring spray surfaces are ready for spray making sure that the final finish is of optimum quality
- Perform and oversee personnel in the sanding, calibrating, masking, paint mixing and spraying department
- Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job
- Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried ensuring optimum quality
- Ensure that all equipment, spraying machines, spray booth, drying area, spray robot and general finishing area are kept clean at all times
- Take all records of usage and rework and allocate such records to the related job numbers.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a spray painter
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques
- Ability to see subtle colour differences.
