The General Soft Drinks Co Limited in Malta is looking to recruit a Skilled Handyman to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- To perform finishing work on the interior/exterior of the building with plaster coating including preparation surfaces for plastering or re-plastering.
- Perform repair works to walls, floors and ceilings.
- Inform the Technical Coordinator of any urgent repairs.
- Daily cleaning of the ring road around the plant.
- To perform all necessary gardening to keep landscaping clean and organised.
- To ensure that the Workshop, Boiler Room, Compressor Room, Electrical Rooms and Refrigeration Room are kept in clean and organized order (a good housekeeping mentality must be fostered).
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of general plumbing duties with emphasis on drainage & draining systems.
- Knowledge of general tiling skills & general maintenance tasks.
- Basic general cleaning skills.
- Good communication in both Maltese & English.
- Reading & writing skills.
- Plastering & painting skills.
- In possession of a valid Driving Licence B & Forklift Operation Course.
