Malta Public Transport Services (Operations) Limited is looking to recruit a Shunter to join their team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all buses are processed through the bus wash as per company standards.
- Assist with Fuelling and Ad Blue
- Park buses in the places designated by the company as advised by the Fleet Supervisor.
- Driving buses between depots, and between each depot and the Luqa workshop for maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Fill out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability.
- Follow the directions of the Fleet Supervisor and the management.
- Always ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools, including hazardous waste management.
- Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policies.
- Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by the Fleet Supervisor and/or management.
Requirements:
- Must be in possession of a European category D driving license.
- Must be available to work night shifts.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in Maltese and/or English.
- Excellent parking and manoeuvring skills.
- Hands-on experience driving buses or large vehicles will be considered an asset.
