Senior Technician

Toly Products Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Senior Technician on a full-time basis who will be joining the Maintenance & Facilities team working on cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and conducting maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery, and equipment to the required standards in a timely manner
- Providing technical troubleshooting and carrying out preventative maintenance, together with the breakdown maintenance of facilities equipment
- Setting up of production line layouts, including machinery and planning
- Moving heavy equipment
- Using preventive maintenance techniques on all aspects of the operation
- Installation of mechanical equipment and setting up of machinery
- Working closely with all teams to ensure that all works are completed on schedule and in accordance with applicable standards
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems while performing point-to-point tests on equipment
- Occupational Health and Safety.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday on a Day shift basis.
Skill-sets and Requirements:
- Good communication, written and verbal skills in English
- Able to work with minimum supervision as well as in a team
- Able to take initiative and work in a logical manner.
- A minimum of MQF Level 5 within a technical field is required
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is required
- Preferably in possession of Licences A and B, or at least willing to commit to completing these.
