Security Officer (Gozo)

• Responsible for fully conversant with company policies and procedures and adhering to them as per job requirements.
• To make continuous and regular inspection checks in and around the whole building, examining doors, windows, glass panes, gates, and any other areas such as service shafts to ensure that they are properly secured and have not been tampered with in any way and to be on the lookout for other irregularities such as broken water pipes, water leaks, electrical hazards, and fire hazards. 
• Ensure that: The premises are opened and closed at the scheduled business hours and Turn on and off all lighting as appropriate.
• Ensure the escalators and lifts are available as required.
• Ensure that CB is in a position to respond.
• Monitor the daily business activities and take appropriate action regarding the irregular activity.
• To liaise with the Police in case of accidents, theft, etc.
• To handle customers caught stealing in a courteous but sure and firm way without jeopardizing their legal rights
• Monitor the security screens on a regular basis looking for any irregular activity.
• To administer first-aid assistance if required. 
• Act as a custodian in all cash-handling operations.
• Collect and deposit cash from the bank as required.
• Manage and control all keys to the premises.
• Answering all telephone calls received on Arkadia’s general number.
• To administer the company’s internal and external mail. Register post and deliver accordingly.

Requirements: 

• Fluency in English.
