Process Setter

Job Description
Playmobil Malta is looking to recruit Process Setters to join their team within their Product Groups on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be working on 3 shifts. In the future deployment might vary according to business needs.

In the role, the main tasks include:

• Setting up machines efficiently and professionally;
• Monitoring production output from a group of machines;
• Ensuring that machines and respective tooling are maintained in the best working condition;
• Ensuring that production meets specified quality standards; 
• Assisting the Process Leader and Process Technician in leading a group of operators.

The chosen candidates need to have an MQF level 1 certification and be able to communicate well both in spoken and written English. The ideal candidates will also have:

• Further educational achievements preferably including English and Mathematics at MQFlevel 3;
• Basic computer knowledge;
• A technical background or been working in a technical environment for a number of years;
• The ability to work in a team and lead others. Those able to demonstrate this through past achievements in or out of the workplace will be preferred;
• Organisation ability, showing an eye for detail and a disposition towards good housekeeping on the shop floor.

*Applicants will be expected to sit for a written test and training will be given to the selected candidates.
