Plant Technician

Job Description
Ably Resources are looking for a Plant Technician to join their client in the hotel industries team. This position is under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Manager who will oversee and implement all entrusted maintenance activities and functions.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular examinations for defects
• Perform tests on building services, equipment, installations, etc.
• Carry out preventive maintenance work and carry out the necessary modifications
• Attend to faults and breakdowns
• Fault identifications and localization and subsequent repair works
• Examine drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications
• Maintain all machinery and equipment.
• Supervise personnel carrying out maintenance, servicing, or installation works
• Ensure that work is carried out to standards acceptable by the company.
• Ensure that all operational, safety and security standards and regulations are adhered to
• Provide support to the rest of the staff of the Maintenance department when necessary

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Wireman’s licence A and B
• Knowledge of Plant room
• Experience working in a similar environment
• Have good knowledge of guest room maintenance
