Job Description
Manoel Island Yacht Yard Ltd in Malta is currently expanding our business and is looking for a Marine Carpenter to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role: 
The employee will be carrying out various works on yachts that are undergoing repairs and refits at the Yard. The selected candidate will benefit from training from our experienced in-house Carpenters.

The ideal candidate must:

• Be able to interpret drawings
• Manage time frames
• Must be able to work on own initiative
• Be a team player
• Communicate in both Maltese and English language (Candidates who know eighter one or the other language will still be considered)
• Have a positive attitude towards work and towards clients. 

Manoel Island Yacht Yard Ltd:
Manoel Island Yacht Yard Limited (MIYY) is one of the oldest established yacht repair yard in the Mediterranean. It provides a range of repair and maintenance services to yachts located at the Yard or afloat. In addition, it also operates a Life Saving Equipment Service Station which is Lloyds approved and certified by 17 brands.
