Maintenance Supervisor

Boatcare Trading Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate is required to keep control of store tools and equipment and monitor ongoing maintenance works. The right candidate needs to have experience in the maintenance sector, a flair for organization, and an eye for detail.

You’ll have:

• Strong knowledge and experience of general maintenance;
• The ability to multitask with ease and work to tight deadlines in a calm, professional manner;
• Numerical skills, and feel comfortable working with numbers;
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• The ability to converse in Maltese is preferred but not essential;
• A Passion for the yachting world and a love for the sea;
• Sealegs are essential;
• A boat licence is preferred but not compulsory;
• A driving licence is required;
• Applicants should have a valid working permit.

You will:

• Be responsible for the maintenance department, managing team members;
• Be adaptable and flexible in order to carry out several projects simultaneously;
• Conduct any onsite inspections for repairs required on client boats;
• Carry out repairs and installations on boats;
• Maintain an organised inventory of parts;
• Organise and file all work in a clear, coherent manner.
