Lab Services Technician

Our client, a reputable company with diverse business units, is seeking to recruit a Lab Services Technician as they are currently developing their product and service portfolio. Working alongside a Service and Project Coordinator, your duties will include;

• Servicing a range of laboratory equipment including calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance.
• Installation, Training & Commissioning of Lab Analytical Equipment
• Updating of service reports
• Assisting in sales, i.e. generating offers for clients, issuing purchase orders to suppliers
• Assisting in technical sales meetings when necessary
• Researching relevant new technologies and services to increase company portfolio

Occasional travel abroad might be necessary at times for training

• Have strong organizational skills
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Have excellent communication skills, being able to present himself / herself and communicate using Excellent English
• Have excellent customer service attitude
• Flexible and eager to learn new technologies/processes
• Based in Malta

• The ideal candidate should preferably have an MCAST / other diploma in industrial electronics or equivalent
• Previous technical experience is required, ideally within Pharmaceuticals, or heaving dealt with the servicing of analytical equipment
