HVAC Technician

Our Client is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their multicultural small team

Responsibilities

• The of installing and repairing foodservice and industrial machinery both inhouse and at customers premises

Requirements

HVAC

• Understanding of refrigeration systems and their components,
• Being able to replace any part in a refrigeration system
• The ability for performing proper welding/brazing of pipes
• Ability to vacuum, pressure and recuperate gas from a system also to test the same.
• Understanding of refrigerant types and perform a system fill up and fine-tune.
• Fault finding the whole system including compressors, valves…
• Being able to mechanically replace parts within the system

Electrical 

• Being able to understand and follow wiring diagrams
• Recognising the electrical components within the system not limited to refrigeration systems only.
• Being able to work on a low and medium voltage, up to 415V 3ph
• Being able to mechanically replace parts within the system

Gas 

• Basic understanding of gas in a cooking setup
• Ability to perform fault finding within the system
• Being able to mechanically replace parts within the system

Other requirements

• You will hold a current driving licence
• A good level of both spoken and written English
• Computer literate
• To be considered for this role candidates MUST be currently living in Malta

The vehicle may also be available for the chosen candidate

Working hours are  Mon to Fri 8.15am – 5.00pm, overtime / additional will be also be paid
