Handy Person

Food Chain Limited in Malta is looking to recruit a Handy Person to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance of Restaurants
• To perform general restaurant maintenance duties.
• To do furniture repairs and upkeep the restaurants.
• To repair or change any defected tiles.
• To paint and plaster walls as necessary.
• To periodically clean the extraction ducts.
• To perform plumbing duties and assist in installing and repairing any electrical installation.
• To assist technicians in servicing the restaurant’s kitchen equipment.
• To perform and assist as required in taking care of any emergency drainage, unblock kitchen sinks, and toilet repairs.
• To assist in the transporting of equipment/furniture between restaurants.
• To keep Food chain properties in a good state of repairs.
• To maintain waterproofing of roofs in a good state of repairs.
• To keep the landscaping of the head office in a good state and perform any gardening duties as required.
• To purchase and maintain a good relationship with suppliers of parts and services companies.
• To perform any other maintenance duties that may be required by the company.
• Any other tasks that may be required from time to time.

Requirements:

• Have proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role;
• Good communication skills in English and Maltese;
• Be of a flexible and adaptable nature;
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving;
• Attention to detail;
• In possession of a valid driving license.
