General Maintenance Personnel

Shortletsmalta Ltd is looking to recruit General Maintenance Personnel on a full-time basis to join its current maintenance staff complement.

In line with the recent expansion of the Company and anticipated growth, we are employing maintenance personnel to service the properties we manage.  The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, be a team player, and can handle most jobs related to general upkeep and preventive works required from this position.

Main duties:

• General maintenance duties such as painting, plastering, plumbing, basic carpentry repair works, and other common odd jobs as required.
• Identify issues related to common electricity faults, perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and overall servicing of equipment normally encountered within serviced apartments.
• Prepare vacated units for new clients ensuring that the unit meets the company standards/checklist.
• Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them.
• Handle emergency maintenance and repair works.
• Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years experience in serviced apartments or similar posts
• Fluent in English, good communication skills both verbal and written, including use of apps and devices
• Can work unsupervised, have a passion to learn new skills, and am willing to assist team members in other maintenance tasks when required
• Work shift rosters include evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Possess a valid driving license
