Our Client is a large group of companies undertaking both new build, refurbishment, and finishing projects throughout Malta.
Due to continued project awards within the newly formed Finishes Division, a Foreman is now required to supervise and coordinate activities of the tradespeople and other workers to ensure projects are complete efficiently.
Responsibilities will include:
Supervising, coordinating and/or scheduling tasks and activities on finishing projects
Determining work requirements and planning procedures
Overseeing work progress ensuring all deadlines are met
Interpreting and explaining technical information
Reporting on work progress
Liaising regularly with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other parties
Responding appropriately to any work delays, emergencies, or other problems
Complying with legal requirements, health and safety codes and other regulations
Providing training to new staff
Applicants will:
Be organised with excellent planning and organisation capabilities
Possess experience and dedication to quality, health and safety
Strive to create a customer driven approach to work
Demonstrate respect and integrity in the workplace
Have excellent time problem solving and decision making skills
Have experience of leading teams of tradespeople
