Fibre Optic Supervisor

Ably Resources Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Fibre Optic Supervisor to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

About the Client:
Our client is a leading company in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specializing in mechanical and electrical contracting, BMS, ELVs, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management. Due to further expansion, they are currently looking for a highly organized and experienced individual to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Linemen and Fibre Optic Splicers
• Manage civil works and cable laying sub-contractors
• Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operation and distribution of the workforce
• Attend to and resolve any disputes that may arise with homeowners
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Responsible for the delivery of project material to our stores
• Manage project stores and distribution of the relevant material
• Responsible for the distribution and usage of tools within the team
• Conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with both aerial and underground cable installation
• Able to prepare payment applications
• Experience working with overhead power lines
• Ideally in possession of a bucket truck driving license
• Computer literate with MS applications
• Organized and meticulous
• Conscious of health and safety requirements when working with overhead and underground cables
• Fluent in English speaking, writing, and reporting
• Presently residing in Malta.
