Electronics Technician

Job Description
Avantech Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a smart, outgoing Electronics Technician to join their technical team on a full-time basis. 

Candidates must be fluent in both Maltese and English and have an advanced diploma in electronics or equivalent. A sound technical background with experience in fault finding together with a knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer networks will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities will include:

•  Installation, configuration, maintenance and set up of office equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, etc.
•  Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing malfunctions, and carrying out repairs
•  Integrating and communicating effectively with other technical staff, co-workers, and suppliers

Requirements: 

• A residence permit and valid work permit are required.
• The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s licence (category B) and the ability to work in a team under pressure and against tight deadlines.
