Job vacancy: Electrical & Electronics Technician

As an experienced Electrical & Electronics Technician you will join the growing maintenance and engineering team based at our offices in Malta. Due to continued growth, we are looking for talented and experienced traders to join our Pre-Game Tennis trading team.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to all electrical system maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems alongside installation activities on equipment including; low voltage distribution systems, switchgear, generators, transfer switches, and UPS. While also upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Level 4 or Level 5, (or National Certificate equivalent) in Electrical Engineering with minimum 4 years fault-finding experience, including experience in critical electrical systems such as UPS and Generators.
• Licence A and Licence B or equivalent for single-phase and 3-phase for low voltage systems.
• Building services training in TREND, lighting systems, Emergency lighting, EV charging, Fire Systems, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of data center engineering services and critical systems.
• Working knowledge of fire systems, fire suppression, CCTV, security systems, and lighting controls.
• Experience using a CAFM system.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carrying out repairs and inspections to electrical equipment and installations across the bet365 properties.
• Upgrading and maintaining installations such as distribution systems, generators and switches as required.
• Assisting with inspection and servicing of door entry access control system.
• Attending to all remedial maintenance work as discussed with the Engineering Manager.
• Inspecting properties to identify and recommend repairs and/or advisory works to maintain safety standards.
• Completing regular testing of systems and equipment to identify any faults including regular PPM’s through the CAFM system and identifying any new PPMs required to be added to the CAFM system.
• Responding to emergency call-outs.
• Supporting with testing of critical data center and building systems and related equipment.
