Construction Labourer

HireHound Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to assist skilled tradespeople such as Steel Fixers, Stone Masons, and other specialists on site. The ideal candidate will support daily operations through a variety of general labour tasks while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Steel Fixers, Stone Masons, and other skilled trades workers with tasks on site. 
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment. 
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and potential hazards. 
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. 
• Mix, pour, and assist with the application of concrete as required. 
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE. 
• Perform general labor and site maintenance duties as directed by supervisors. 

Requirements:

• Previous construction or labour experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools. 
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks. 
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment. 
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
