Coffee Machine Technician

Job Description
Nestle Malta Ltd is looking for a dynamic and experienced Technician to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate will possess autonomy and the ability to work with minimum supervision, good communication skills, and able to develop good working relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Job role:
In this role, you will be providing technical service support for Nestlé Professional Machines, Buondi Machines, and beverage systems. You will need to ensure the quality & hygiene of these systems as well as the products for the end user.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for vending and beverage systems; follow up and survey the new machinery development in AVM & beverage systems;
• Allocate assets to customers and keep track of asset movements to customers;
• Maintain stock level, review stock movements of equipment and its parts; purchase equipment and spare parts;
• Track spare part usage by third party for machinery repair and maintenance;
• Deliver and install equipment;
• Check exclusive use of Nestlé products;
• Conduct product testing for customers during the market visits with Sales Force;
• Handle technical product complaints
• Study Food Safety on new product/ new equipment/ method for FS before implementation to customer, operator, etc;
• Other ad hoc and administrative jobs including but are not limited to communicating with sales reps, retrieving information about equipment, and equipment demonstrations.

Education and experience:

• Degree or Technical Qualification (License A or B, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering);
• 2 years experience on coffee machines, freezers & chillers, and in mechanical maintenance;
• As a plus Knowledge of Nestle Vending & Beverage Systems Machinery;
• Good communication skills;
• Service orientation.
