Cleaning Team Leader

We are looking for a Cleaning Team Leader who can take ownership of daily operations, coordinate staff, and ensure high standards of service delivery across multiple condominium properties. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-organised, and capable of balancing on-site supervision with administrative responsibilities.

Duties:

• Schedule and coordinate daily tasks for the cleaning team across various condominium sites
• Conduct regular inspection checks to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained
• Delegate tasks effectively and support team members to maximise productivity
• Organise and oversee the cleaning workflow to ensure timely completion of assignments
• Act as the main point of contact between the cleaning team and management
• Prepare and compile documents for monthly payment processing (including timesheets and job completion reports)
• Report maintenance issues or unusual findings during site inspections
• Assist in training new staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
• Perform any other duties that may be required

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours a week spread over Monday to Saturday
• The job will include onsite visits as well as office-based tasks.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or supervisory role is required
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team across different locations
• Good communication skills in English 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• European passport or permission to work in Malta
• Possession of a vehicle and valid driving license (Category B) is considered an asset
• Must provide clean police conduct certificate
