We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee the stewardship operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all food service and dining areas, while managing a team of stewards and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stewarding team to ensure efficient operation and cleanliness of all kitchen and dining areas.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs to promote sustainability within the organization.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to stewarding operations promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a stewarding or kitchen management role, preferably in a hospitality or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
