Risk Officer

Our client is a bank that operates in Malta and as it growing it is now recruiting a Risk Officer.

The Role

• You will assist in the preparation of Quarterly risk report to the Board
• Assisting in the preparation of applications of credit approval and other risk control functions
• Preparing of borrowing customers for credit exposures
• Assisting in liquidity risk management
• Assisting in operational risk management
• Assisting in the preparation of the ICAAP & ILAAP
• Preparing collateral evaluations 
• Assisting in the work outs of non performing loans
• Assisting in the evaluation, monitoring and the reporting of the Bank's security potfolio
• Assisting in the oversight of IT risk
• Assist the Chief Risk Officer in liaising with internal and external auditors, MFSA on all risk issues

Experience & Qualifications

• You must have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• A degree in banking or any other finance related qualification would be considered as an asset
• Must be highly IT literate
