Risk Executive

Job Description

AgriBank Plc is a licensed Maltese credit institution committed to offering a flexible service to corporate clients both locally and in other reputable jurisdictions. In view of growing business needs, we are currently looking to recruit a Risk Executive to join their Risk team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will report to the Head of Risk.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the drafting of policies and procedures and other internal documents particularly related to credit, operational, and market risk and implementation thereof;
• Assisting in the review, implementation, and monitoring of controls and other operational risk observations and action plans;
• Preparation of reports to management and Board of Directors;
• Providing support to increase risk awareness within the Bank;
• Identifying potential areas of vulnerability and risk as well as actively developing solutions;
• Assist in internal and external audits and investigations related to risk issues.

Education and experience:

• The ideal candidate must possess at least 2-3 years of experience working in a similar position;
• Hold a relevant qualification in Banking, Risk, or Economics;
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing a Credit Institution would be considered an asset.

• Possess High-Level work ethics, professional integrity;
• Ability to work with minimum supervision with a good eye for detail and analytical skills, good in prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities in order to meet deadlines, and able to work independently;
• Be a good team player with good communication skills.
