Networks and IT Security Professional

Our client is currently looking to recruit a ​Networks and IT Security Professional to join their dynamic, forward-thinking team based in Malta.

Responsibilities would include

• Delivery, administration, operations, and troubleshooting of Group enterprise network devices and security infrastructure
• Direct technical hands-on administration, documentation and support of Group enterprise network devices and security infrastructure
• Act as a senior point of escalation for advanced support in areas of competence
• Provide active leadership and the continuous pursuit of excellence in the fulfilment of own and team operational and delivery objectives
• Providing a senior point of escalation for advanced support in areas of competence
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation
• Contributing to IT team objectives through subject matter expertise and support

Education and Experience: 

• Engineering Security or IT-related Degree 
• Good knowledge of IP,  Internet technologies and cloud technologies
• Wired and wireless data networks 
• Software-defined security and networking in virtualised environments
• Network management and performance monitoring technologies
• Endpoint and mobile security systems 
• Information protection and data leakage control 
• Software-defined security and networking in virtualized environments 
• Authentication platforms 
• Cloud security, connectivity, and access
• Prior experience working in demanding mission-critical IT environments
• Vendor certifications in networking and security technologies will be considered as an asset
