IT Security Engineer

Our client specializing in ICT Services is recruiting a junior and a senior IT Security Engineer to join their growing team. You will be working closely with other technical engineers and project leaders to ensure their clients are operating in a secure environment. Experience in IT Security is required for this role.

Senior Engineers: €47,000 - €55,000, based on experience

Junior Engineers: €30,000 - €45,000, based on experience

Requirements:

• Work with your team and other experts to implement feedback
• Ensure technical solutions are well designed and in line with current cyber security practices
• Review, create, and approve security standards
• Design and implement for security and non-security driven projects
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line security operations support 
• Handle and resolve incidents as needed

On-call rotation required

Ability to obtain an EU/UK security clearance is required

• Ability to obtain a Personal Security Clearance
• 2+ years of experience with VPN, IPS, content security, security information, and event management systems
• Good knowledge of IP networking, routing, firewalls, and end security
• Excellent understanding of Next Generation Firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, We Application Firewalls, Log Management and SIEM, and Cloud Security Platforms
• Exposure to SOAR platforms and Endpoint Security Suites
• Powershell or Python skills
• Excellent attention to detail

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineer, or Cyber Security is required
• Security related certifications (Cisco, Check Point, CyberArk, Tenable) would be considered an asset
