Information Security Expert

Our established banking client is actively recruiting for an Information Security Expert who has experience within GRC. This exciting role will super charge your cybersecurity career and bring you to new heights!

This role requires the candidate to be based in Malta and requires Maltese and English fluency,

Responsibilities: 

• Define risk governance standards for the first line of support
• Actively participate in aiding the risk committee
• Assess, mitigate, and compile reports for the Cyber Security Risk and ICT teams
• Define and continuously improve the Info Sec Risk processes
• Develop, document, asses various metrics and internal controls related to InfoSec
• Compile and submit regulatory reports on deadline

• Experience in a similar role is required
• CISA, CISM, CISSP, or Security+ certifications would be considered an asset
• Knowledge in ISO 27001, auditing standards & frameworks, and security domains
• Experience in security and GRC
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellence written and spoken fluency in Maltese & English
• Familiarity with EBA guidelines and MFSA rules

• A University degree in IT, Business & Computing, Information Security, Engineering or related ICT field
