Information Security Engineer

An exciting opportunity of Information Security Engineer has arisen within the telecommunications industry! 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security systems and protocols to safeguard the organisations' infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Perform regular security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration testing using tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, NMAP.
• Monitor security systems and tools, proactively detecting threats and responding to security incidents.
• Work closely with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure security is consistently integrated across all operations.
• Assess and adopt advanced security technologies and solutions.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior members of the security team.

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Knowledge on cloud (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) is required
• Hands on experience with firewalls and cloud security tools
• Experience with ISO27001
• Proficiency with Phyton, Bash or Powershell

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent
