Researcher (Discern - Institute for Research on the Signs of the Times)

Job Description
Archdiocese Of Malta is looking to recruit a Researcher (Discern - Institute for Research on the Signs of the Times) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

The ideal candidate must have:

• A University Degree (at EQF Level 7)  in the Social Sciences, Economics, or Public Policy. Applicants with an EQF level 7 qualification in other related areas may be considered;
• A track record of quantitative research, although the experience of qualitative research is also considered an asset;
• Evidence of very good report-writing skills; 
• Experience in public speaking, presentations, and event organization;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
• The ability to work with and in a team, and to work on his/her own initiative.

 
*The successful candidate, who will report to the Chief Research Officer (Discern), will develop and/or assist the latter in the development and execution of research projects.  For this purpose, s/he must handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion.
