AIS Environment Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Junior Waste Consultant to join their team on a full-time basis. You will report directly to the Department Manager and can expect to learn, be empowered, and be very much involved in prestigious national contracts.

Established in 1995, AIS Environment is a leading consultancy firm working on diverse and challenging client projects. We are a team of highly professional consultants who provide environmental services requested by the industry related to planning, land use, development, and assessment.

Your responsibilities shall include:

• Provide technical advice as a subject matter expert;
• Contributing to the business by supporting delivery activities;
• Committing to continuous improvement of waste programmes/strategies;
• Compile scientific reports for impact assessments and monitoring programmes;
• Interpret data and undertake statistical analysis;
• Responsible for the execution of projects within the set objectives of delivery and quality.

Here is what you need to excel in this role:

• Knowledge of environmental issues including practices, policies, legislation, and stakeholders, in relation to waste management;
• Be in possession of a Master’s degree in a scientific/technical subject, preferably in waste;
• A minimum of 2 years experience in waste management;
• Be self-driven, results-oriented, and challenged by a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
• Possess good communication skills in both English and Maltese;
• Be proficient in technical report writing;
• Hold a valid driving licence.
