Field Application Specialist

Given that, the position for an enthusiastic, technical and organized Field Application Specialist on a Full-Time basis, has arisen! 

The ideal candidate will be required to:

• Assesses customer Key Operator performance and knowledge
• Complete validation studies on instrumentation including, instrument set-up, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons
• Provide both onsite and remote phone support to customers for assay and QC related questions
• Provide product demonstrations and onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation
• Conduct test procedures to diagnose and resolve product performance issues
• Accompany Sales team members on calls to provide technical and application assistance in response to customer inquiries
• Provide start up application training to customers
• Keep abreast of activities related to this division in the market as well as competitor products and user requirements
• Proactively make recommendations for future improvements and implement accordingly
• Drive revenue growth through determining growth opportunities while working with customers

Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum combined experience of 4 years in laboratory / diagnostic instrumentation or related field.
• Proven communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with heavy emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment.
• Must be willing to travel abroad for training.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Experience in the Diagnostics industry.
• Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA)
• Flexible and self-motivated.
