Archaeologist

AIS Environment Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Archaeologist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Part of AIS Group of companies, AIS Environment is a highly specialised group of environmental scientists, and we are seeking to recruit an archaeologist to join our existing team.

Job Role:
The selected candidate’s roles would be archaeological monitoring, surveying, investigations, and post-excavation, and research work.

Requirements:

• The selected candidate is expected to have a University degree in Archaeology, with two years of work experience as a minimum;
• Candidates with a Masters's degree in Maltese or Punic Archaeology would be preferred;
• The successful candidate is expected to manage assigned cases and compile documents and reports for the cases handled. Coaching and guidance shall be provided.

Applicants Should:

• Be smart, highly motivated, and can work on his/her initiative;
• Good communication skills and strong technical writing skills in English;
• Be well versed in computerised systems and AutoCAD drawing;
• Hold a valid driving licence.
