Store Supervisor

Job Description
Our client is a large, well-known Mechanical & Electrical Contractor also retailing a range of MEP equipment.  A new role has become available for an experienced Store Supervisor to manage the store in Central Malta.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising requisitions, truck loading, shelf stockers, and all other employees within the store
• Evaluating the supply and availability of stock
• Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage
• Monitoring shelf stocks and the general appearance of the store
• Advising on market trends
• Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints
• Motivating employees to achieve targets
• Training new staff members

Applicants will:

• Possess supervisory experience in a retail store, or similar
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with employees and customers
• Be competent in retail management software such as Shireburn or Acumatica
• Have excellent English capability and preferably (must not essentially) Maltese language skills
• Be proficient with spreadsheet and word processing software.
