Shopping Assistant

Job Description
Travel Shopping Limited in Malta is looking to recruit Shopping Assistants to join their team on a casual part-time basis to sustain the ongoing growth in the cruise industry.

Job role:
The positions call for outgoing, helpful, and confident individuals, with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service to ultimately enhance our shopper’s overall experience.

Applicants must also be fluent in English and ideally Maltese while being able to work under pressure, especially in the busier periods.

The selected candidates would be responsible for the following amongst others:

• Assisting clients and being able to demonstrate products
• Maintaining in-store displays
• Work on a point-of-sale when required
• Other tasks that may be requested by the Shop Manager from time to time.

Candidates should be able and willing to work flexible hours including weekends, public holidays, and extended hours, especially during peak seasons. It will not be expected for candidates to carry heavy inventory items, as a storekeeper will also be present during cruise days.

Previous experience in a similar position would be considered an asset, however, the company will provide in-house and external training to the chosen candidate and will thus also consider applications from inexperienced individuals.
