Shop Assistant

Job Description
Inspire Foundation in Malta is looking to recruit Shop Assistants to join their team on a part-time basis. 

Inspire is looking to recruit an energetic and proactive talent to join its Charity Shops for the community on a part-time. The Shop Assistant shall be responsible for the day-to-day retail operations at the Charity Shop which operates weekly from Monday to Sunday. The selected candidates shall contribute to the improvement of the product's quality and the shopping experience. They should be flexible and open to change as may be required from day today.

Role Requirements:

• Ensure the smooth running of the shop operations during opening hours.
• Assist customers with product selection and suggest products specific to customers’ needs and requirements.
• Monitor customers’ satisfaction throughout their shopping experience and provide feedback.
• Display stock in an attractive way to promote more sales.
• Ensure the shop is always kept organized and clean.

The ideal candidate should:

• Possess minimum Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
• Be able to work flexible shifts between Monday and Sunday.
• Experience in a shop would be considered an asset.

*Prior to being recruited and throughout the duration of employment, the selected candidates need to satisfy the requirements of the Protection of Minors Act (POMA) together with those of immunisation.
